Oven Roasted Broccoli
1 pound of broccoli, washed and trimmed (I love TJ’s organic broccoli in the bag)
1-2 tablespoons avocado oil or coconut oil
Himalayan sea salt and ground pepper to taste
Optional teaspoon of garlic powder and teaspoon of TJ’s 21 Season Salute
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Place the broccoli florets on a baking sheet and cut any large ones so that you have an even array of florets—they cook better that way.
Sprinkle the oil and seasonings over the florets and mix them around until all are evenly coated.
Bake for 10 mins and then toss them around a bit.
Bake for another 10-15 mins until lightly tender (not mushy) and lightly browned
These are delicious hot or cold on a salad the next day!
